Ideally like to shoot in natural light, which means, weather permitting, we enjoy shooting in sunny fields during "golden hour," lush green woods, shady lakes, and more.

My husband gave me my first professional camera as our wedding gift, and ever since, I have been taking photos. I took them professionally for years, but up until 2020, I was the Senior Vice President of an Advertising Agency out of Florida as well. When Covid-19 happened, I asked myself, why was I wasting time behind a desk when what made me happiest was taking photos? I couldn't kick that feeling — even if that meant quitting a secure and well-paid job — and so I started a business in 2020. Yep, I quit my job during a pandemic to follow my passion.
I rarely make online recommendations, but I simply could not pass up the opportunity to thank Emily Kettner Photography for capturing our wedding day. Emily’s family photos are so beautiful and I thought going into our wedding, “who actually displays wedding photos after the first few years?” Let me tell you, I WILL! Even the smallest detail is captured so beautifully it’s art and I can’t wait to share these beautiful reminders of that day with family and friends for years to come.
