Vanessa and Anthony are such a laid back, sweet couple. I loved wandering around Bubolz Nature Preserve capturing their Engagement Photos for their upcoming wedding in August in Downtown Neenah. I love it when couples say they aren't good at taking photos and then turn into the most natural, sweet and loving couples that capture seriously stunning engagement photos.
Anthony is a fisherman and wanted to incorporate fish into the engagement session, so we headed to the pond half way through so that we could take photos of their fish gate on their dock. He drove from a fishing tournament to engagement photos, so you can probably guess how dedicated he is to his sport! Vanessa is a teacher and we swapped stories of littles (with a first grader, there's lots to share) — getting to know my couples before their weddings is one of my favorite things about being a photographer.
Despite the mosquitos, this engagement session was one of the most beautiful nights of the summer. We had pretty soft light and a little breeze and it made for picture perfect moments between bride and groom to be.
