I offer a free engagement session with all of my wedding packages, because I feel it is a worthwhile investment to understand and get familiar with my engaged couples before their wedding. I want them to feel comfortable behind the camera, feel comfortable with me as a photographer, and also be ready for those silly prompts from me before their big day.
Sara and Aaron are so adorable. I noticed how in love they were immediately, but what I found so amazing was afterward, when I was editing, I noticed all of the little touches and smiles they gave one another. They are very faithful to god, and therefore I won't embarrass them too much in front of their church friends, but I will say, they know how to bring the steam!
For their engagement session, we traveled all around Fond du Lac — downtown Fond du Lac, Hotel Retlaw and Lakeside Park. These are some of my favorite locations in Fond du Lac and provide a great variety. We took both formal and casual photos all within a few miles radius. Sara rented a dress and it was a showstopper for the photos in Hotel Retlaw.
It was a really cool mixture of elegant and casual, and perfect for Sara and Aaron, who were having black and white for their wedding colors, and an overall classic elegant theme for their wedding. I can't wait to capture the big day come October!
